We went to a ramen restaurant. Ramen has a bad rap in the states because all you think of is the stuff that comes in a brick. I was a little skeptical here, because how much better can it get? This little place was funny.. you bought your ramen by purchasing a ticket at a vending machine outside the restaurant, then went in and sat down at an open seat. You filled out how you want your ramen on a sheet, and slide the ticket through a slot to the cook. Some restaurants only serve one thing in Japan, which I think is fucking cool. If it’s a popular spot (which they always tend to be), you don’t have to choose - you know you’re getting some bombass shit, it’s all they make
